Falco FR® is non-halogen and high purity magnesium hydroxide powder produced from exceptionally selected brucite mineral by strictly controlled fine milling.
The product is used as non-halogenated flame retardant for the production of variety of polymer compounds providing flame-retardant and smoke suppressant properties in such applications like aluminum composite panels, HFFR/PVC cables and polyolefin roofing membranes.
Falco FR® for Aluminium composite panels
Falco FR® can be applied in B2, B1, A2 fireproof grades of Aluminium composite panels as the only fire retardant. By doing so, one could optimize the price of the initial compound, raise efficiency and come to the highest grades of ACP flame resistant classification.
